After the debut of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the Assembled special was about to be released on June 14. Now Disney+ has delayed the streaming of the episode with no signs indicating any date or timing for its premiere. No clear reason was stated, but according to the rumors in the tinsel town, it has been speculated that the reason behind the delay is none other than- Jonathan Majors.
The assault allegations jeopardized the actor’s career and even brought Marvel’s much-anticipated project to a halt. After the arrest of Jonathan Majors, his legal team came forward with a statement that mentioned the actor’s innocence. The statement read as-
“He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up. Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”
An angle of racism was also brought into the light by the attorney of Jonathan Majors, Priya Chaudhry. She claimed that the actor was being judged by the color of his skin. Priya Chaudhry stated-
“This is a witch hunt against Jonathan Majors, driven by baseless claims. Instead of dismissing the allegations in the face of the woman’s clear lies, the DA has adjusted the charges to match the woman’s new lies. To be clear, there are no new charges against Mr. Majors.”
Majors was ordered to appear in court once again on June 13.
Jonathan Majors Is On The Brink Of Losing Kang In The Marvel Cinematic Universe
