American stand-up comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld was named the twelfth greatest stand-up comedian of all time by Comedy Central in 2004. Following occasional appearances on shows like The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and Late Show with David Letterman, he created the NBC sitcom The Seinfeld Chronicles with Larry David. Later, the show was renamed Seinfeld to avoid getting confused with another teen sitcom.

Seinfeld was the show that catapulted the comedian’s name to fame as he would play a semi-fictionalized version of himself in the show and is the only recurring character in the entire sitcom. He once recounted the scene that he found the hardest to film in the entirety of the nine-seasoned show without laughing. The answer is bound to be interesting given it is a comedy show.

Recalling his memories of that particular episode, Seinfeld said:

“It was just so ridiculous that he was interrogating me in my own apartment about a book. I just kept cracking up. So that scene that you see is made up of about eight different times we shot it. We took the pieces that worked and put it together because I messed that one up a ton.”

Noel Gallagher is the kind of person who is hard to impress. So, the fact that Jerry Seinfeld’s sitcom managed to impress him is nothing short of a miracle. During an interview with Rolling Stones, Gallagher was pretty vocal about his love for Seinfeld as he said that in his opinion, it was the best thing to ever have been filmed.

In fact, Gallagher even wanted his wife to like the show when they first met. While speaking to Rolling Stones, he said:

“I identify with Jerry. When I met my wife 15 years ago, she’d never seen it, and I was like, ‘If we’re going to be together, you’ve got to be into this shit because this is important’. Luckily, she fuckin’ loves it.“

During the interview, Gallagher also claimed that he was probably the only person in all of England who used to watch the show, or at least in Manchester for that matter.
