British actor Kit Harington rose to fame with the widely watched fantasy drama Game Of Thrones. He portrayed one of the most significant characters in the series Jon Snow, son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. During an appearance on a reputed chat show, the British actor spoke about Game Of Thrones Season 6. He even went on to give an explanation behind the inclusion of Red Priestess in one of the episodes of the sixth season.
Kit Harington Gave A Hillarious Explanation About The Red Priestess Angle In GOT Season 6
One of the epic shows in the history of entertainment Game Of Thrones gave life to author George RR Martin’s book. The show gave faces to timeless characters, appreciation, and love of the fans. With its star-studded cast of Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, and Sophie Turner, the show premiered in 2011. It instantly became a fan favorite with its complex tale revolving around family ties, love, and loss.
During an appearance on the reputed chat show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2017, actor Kit Harington spoke about the sixth season of Game Of Thrones. During the conversation, he was asked about the inclusion of the Red Priestess in one of the episodes the season six.
Jimmy Fallon went on to ask about the Red Lady and the witchcraft she performed on Jon Snow played by the English actor. He mentioned that she cuts the actor’s hair while he is lying on the slab and throws it into the fire recites a few spells and even cuts his beard hair. The host was confused about the act of cutting the beard hair.
To which the Brimstone actor replied-
“Well, there were other scenes where she was cutting hair from elsewhere.”
The duo laughed loudly with a cheeky smile at the hilarious explanation given by Kit Harington.
Kit Harington On The Possibility Of Game Of Thrones Spin-Off
During an appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kit Harington spoke about reprising the character of Jon Snow in the Game Of Thrones spin-off. While talking to the host, he said-
“I don’t know, man … I walk down the street and I get recognized a little less nowadays, and it kind of hurts my ego, you know?” he teased. I’m pretty close to like putting on some furs. I have a tally in my head of how few photos I get asked for in a day. And when it gets below a certain number, I think I’ll do a spin-off.”
On being asked what’s next for him as an actor, Kit Harington said-
“It was a bit like going back in time. I know it’s only been four years or something, but it feels longer. And I went to it, and it’s nice seeing the fans. It’s kind of amazing that that show’s still got such a fanbase and it’s continuing on in its own way.”
The famous fantasy drama Game Of Thrones brought many talented actors to the main spotlight of media. Actor Pedro Pascal rose to fame with his character in the series which later constructed his Hollywood career.
