Markle and Mulroney were fast friends that were by each other’s sides through thick and thin. The latter was even the stylist of Meghan Markle for her royal wedding. Markle apparently broke off her friendship due to racism allegations against Mulroney.
Why Did Meghan Markle end her friendship with Jessica Mulroney?
Jessica Mulroney and Meghan Markle were once best of friends. Previous reports, however, claim that Mulroney’s white privilege controversy is the cause of their broken friendship. In response to Mulroney’s alleged use of her privilege as a white person to intimidate a Black influencer named Sasha Exeter, the royal princess cut ties with her closest friend. The two became friends in 2011 when Meghan Markle was a star of the hit tv show Suits.
In 2020, Jessica Mulroney was involved in a public dispute with lifestyle blogger Sasha Exeter. The social media influencer allegedly claimed that Mulroney threatened to sue her during a discussion against racism. Later, Mulroney expressed regret for her actions and acknowledged being “ignorant and insensitive.” The friendship between Markle and her never fully recovered since and the two are currently at odds.
According to reports, Meghan Markle has decided to distance herself from Jessica Mulroney because her previous comments were unacceptable and offensive. It was reported earlier that the Duchess of Sussex was concerned for some time that her best friend was trying to profit from her relationship, so she decided to end her friendship with her.

The royal family has reportedly lost faith in the couple as they continue to share personal details in the media. According to recent reports, the royals are extremely cautious with the couple when revealing any information that could further become a news headline.
A source told Entertainment Tonight,
“Despite the lack of official comment from either Buckingham or Kensington Palace—tensions are running high after the Netflix drop.”
They continued,
“There is no trust left between the royals and the Sussexes. Everyone remains wary ahead of Spare’s publication.”
Royal expert Louise Roberts claims that the royal family members have lost their faith in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as everything is up for sale for the couple.
She said,
“Who knows what they’ll say after they leave the UK and go back to America after the coronation, but the problem is that anyone who could be close to them, for example, William and Kate, won’t tell them anything. Everyone’s terrified … everything’s for sale – every indiscretion or every aside comment could be magnified for an American audience to get them a profit.”
Their Netflix documentary, which the streaming service released at the end of 2022, was well received. On the day of its premiere in the UK, about 2.5 million people watched the series. Thanks to their $100 million contract with Netflix, the couple won’t be leaving the entertainment business anytime soon.
