The Boys: Why Black Noir is Scared & Has Gone Dark?

After the third season of The Boys, Episode 6, “Herogasm,” The Seven supe Black Noir has gone all dark — including on the social media handle.
On Twitter, The Boys handle shared a Black Noir screenshot from his verified account. This very account was created in January 2020, follows no one, and has no followers as well. At the time of this writing, the tweets are currently protected. The caption says, “Noir said I should get rid of the Twitter chip too.”
What Exactly To Black Noir In Herogasm?
In episode 6, “Herogasm,” Black Noir came to know that his former teammate at Payback, Soldier Boy was killing the members of the team, just to take revenge for them selling the once-hero out to the Russians, which ended in his imprisonment.
Black Noir cut out his tracking chip and went dark, hiding in an unknown location, waiting out for the potential conflict. This goes on to upset Homelander, who believed that Black Noir was among the few supes he could rely on.
Black Noir was introduced in the first season of The Boys and is a significant supe serving on The Seven team, which is Vought International’s most important and useful team.
Who Was Black Noir In The Comics?
However, in the comics, Black Noir is Homelander’s clone, that’s not even it. Earlier in episode 5, fans finally got a look at what Black Noir looked like without his mask and how he received a fatal facial injury in Nicaragua. When working alongside Payback, Black Noir’s teammates included Crimson Countess, Mindstorm, the TNT Twins, Swatto, Gunpowder, and Soldier Boy. Many f those characters have died since Black Noir’s time with them.
The Boys Is Now Up For Season 4
Based on the comic series by Darick Robertson and Garth Ennis, The Boys was created by Eric Kripke, who is also behind other classic shows like Supernatural. The Boys has proven quite popular and has received some strong reviews critically. Recently, Prime Video renewed the show for Season 4, noting its viewership has gone on to increase over the years.
