“There are a lot of nervous A-Listers”: “Brutally Honest” Britney Spears Tell-All Memoir Put On Hold After Claims Of Affair With 2 Major Hollywood Stars
Britney Spears’ highly anticipated autobiography has been put on hold after the singer is said to have revealed some of her past relationships with A-list Hollywood celebrities. Legal issues, according to reports, have caused a delay in the eagerly anticipated memoir.
According to The Sun, the book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, put it on hold after receiving letters from two Hollywood celebrities. The 41-year-old American singer-songwriter is said to have signed a “record-breaking $15 million (£12 million) publishing deal” a year ago, which would allow her to publish an autobiography.
The “brutally honest” autobiography was slated to be released in January of this year and was on track to dispel any misunderstandings regarding life after her explosive conservatorship.
However, it is not anticipated to be released until later this year.
Autobiography of Britney Spears To Be Put On Hold
The memoir by Britney Spears was supposed to be published this fall, according to earlier rumors. But before it was released, sources revealed more inside information about the book because they called the pop star’s memoir a “groundbreaking instant bestseller”.
Additionally, this hotly anticipated tell-all autobiography has been delayed because of legal issues involving allegations that she had relationships with two Hollywood stars. News of the potentially lewd material emerged after it was claimed that Ryan Murphy (the co-creator of American Horror Story and Glee), was thinking about creating a “tell-all show” with Spears’ consent.
According to data so far available, unknown celebrities might have contacted the publisher about the book. But it seems like Simon & Schuster (publisher) and its legal counsel are still debating how to proceed with the book’s release.
According to a source,
“Britney is brutally honest in the book — there are a lot of nervous A-listers. Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney and who fear what she has written.”
It’s not clear if those, who wrote letters to the publisher, already knew they were mentioned in the book or if they proactively took that action. The development has nevertheless slowed the autobiography’s progress.
“There is no movement at this time, and there are worries about when it will eventually be able to come out.”
Spears reportedly received a $15 million advance for her autobiography, according to a previous Page Six report.
What Will Her Memoir Cover?
The book will detail Britney Spears’ struggles while under conservatorship, which was largely overseen by her father, Jamie Spears until the arrangement was permanently ended in November 2021. It may also touch on her earlier relationships.
The actor, Sam Asghari, and the Toxic singer are expected to discuss their relationship and subsequent marriage in detail.
After Spears went to Hawaii alone without her husband last month, fans have recently expressed concern for the future of their marriage. She was observed several times throughout the getaway without her wedding ring. The source added that the singer wanted this to be her opportunity to address the world, give her perspective, and correct the record.
“There’s a fair amount of throwing people under the bus, talking about past relationships, some of whom will be revealed for the first time ever.”
The source went on to say that despite the singer-songwriter’s highly publicized life,
“There are relationships and people she had encounters with who she managed to keep under the radar, including some massive film star names and people from the music world.”
The sources came to the conclusion that “she wanted to go all out with this book and tell her truth,” and that was what worried people.
Well, this recent revelation regarding Spears’ postponed release of her memoir came after a source informed Ryan Murphy was considering developing a series about Spears’ time under her conservatorship.
