What Is John Krasinski’s MCU Future After Doctor Strange 2?
While John Krasinski played Reed Richards on Earth-838 in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, by Marvel Studios, has revealed that his director Sam Raimi had implied that The Office star John Krasinski will not be icing back for the role in the prime CU.
In the official audio commentary of Marvel Studios’, director Sam Raimi revealed how Krasinski was cast as the Fantastic Four’s leader.
“It’s so funny that [Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige] cast John because the fans had a dream of who the perfect Reed Richards would be.” However, the director added, “And because this is an alternate universe, I think Kevin said, ‘Let’s make that dream come true.’ I’ve always really enjoyed all of his performances.'”
Krasinski Was The Most popular To Play Mister Fantastic
As Sam Raimi said, Krasinski was quite a popular one for all fans to play Mister Fantastic in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Earlier John Krasinski also expressed some interest in making this crazy fan-casting a reality in Doctor Strange 2.
Fans gt what they wanted in Multiverse of Madness, which saw John Krasinski’s Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic as an Illuminati mmebe, which is an Avengers-like team of Earth-838. Krasinski’s screen time was quite short-lived, however, as Reed Richards– alongside the rest of his team — would soon die thanks to the vengeful Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently streaming on Disney+. Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four does not currently have a theatrical release date.
